A UF Student Is Planning To Marry Tetris

A student at the University of Florida is making international headlines, not because of anything tied to school curriculum or sports, but because of what she fell in love with.

20-year-old Noorul Hassan says she's emotionally and sexually attracted to physical objects.

She says she's, quote, "had feelings for monorails, iPods, [and] treadmills" but her first real crush was on a Garmin GPS.  And her first relationship was with a calculator, whom she named Pierre.

While her and Pierre couldn't make it last, she's now found love with "Tetris"; an old Nintendo "Tetris" cartridge.

Noorul says, quote, "I think Tetris is so beautiful, he is about perfection and he stimulates your mind. Physically I get that feeling that people in relationships get – that you know they are the right one.

And yes, there is an intimate aspect to the relationship as well. More on that here.

She and "Tetris" have been dating since September of 2016. She plans to marry him once she finishes college.
